I cannot figure out why twice now all of a sudden my traffic and views for promoted listings go down 100% .. in the red. I have 100% feedback and good metrics … do you have any experience of how long the “dog house” period is if you miss a day or two listing?

Its not you...sales just plain stink here lately. I spent the weekend listed 40+ great items nearly killed myself with a 3 day migraine and all for nothing.

With all the listing glitches this past week, who knows if you could have listed anyway.
We were fine and then promoted listings went wonky again. It's like being on that Survivor show, only e-Bay style.
Who can last the longest and survive the most glitches and still pay their bills on time?
We have college tuition payments due starting 7/15. So thankful we do not rely on e-bay to eat or pay the light bill.

Amen sister..
Me neither but I enjoy the extra money when I can get it. LOL
There has always been a theory and perhaps it's fact but IDK that if you list an item or two every day it helps all you items with visibility. /shrugs
But also as Katz posted; the listing gremlins have been causing havoc the last few days..

It isn't just you.
Impressions, and views are currently in a typical eBay "glitch" status for displaying.
Likely IT at it's finest again attempting to do something resulting in the typical total failure.
Many have incorrect impressions/views displaying.
All mine are at "0" which is basically impossible, as I have sales. Sales do not happen without impressions/views.
Sales are what counts. Don't worry about impressions/views.

If I had to depend on eBay for survival not only would I be living in a tent, but I would be warming dog food! Terrible venue to depend on your lively hood. I may relist/list new and old auctions in the fall or just move to another venue and start fresh..

I think it's just an especially slow time for ebay unless you sell necessities. Oddly enough I have had the best dollar volume in sales with the fewest number of sales this month. I need to sell more boots!
