Drafts

Hi

I tend to list a bunch of stuff 3/4 times a year on ebay. I find this works best for me as due to illness i'm limited to the time I can actually use a PC key board or tablet.

This week i created about 50 drafts for items all to go live this weekend as they are all related products and I wanted them on sale all at the same time. Today i noticed that my ealier drafts had disappeared. 

After calling the Helpline I was told the limit is 20 Drafts. 

If this is so why not have wording that that informs us of the limit. Also have a waring that as you exceed the limit your ealier drafts will be delelted. 

I honestly feel that Ebays IT systems is just the worst for helping people sell. I cant even copy and paste from MS word documnet as ebay messes up the text spacing. I mean ebay is not compatable the most common word document program in the world  !!!

They can do super adverts but not simple things to help sellers. 

I now have to re do 3 days of sales. 

I understand i'm a really small seller and so nothing matters but this ebay system is really just complet **bleep** ! This is what comes when you have a monopoly and no competition.

That's very unfortunate that you were allowed to create 50 drafts even though ebay only saves 20. What a horrible waste of time you've endured. I understand your frustration and I myself know what it's like to suffer from severe health issues. Sorry OP.

Hi Andrew. Ebay recently expanded the draft capability in the Seller Hub. From the link in one of the above posts.

”...You can also save a draft of your listing and go back to finish it later. There are no limits to how many drafts you can have in Seller Hub - opens in new window or tab, although they expire after 45 days. If you prefer to create your listings through the Selling section of My eBay - opens in new window or tab, you can save up to 20 drafts, and they'll be available for 30 days.”
