I thought that listings created and saved as Drafts were retained for 20 days? After 10 they can NOT be activated and listed ... was the 20 days inaccurate or am I just special and got the latest Drafts glitch from Home Office??

I believe you are special. I just opened a draft that hadn't been touched since September 1.

@nobody*s_perfect WOW, I'm jealous ... this has happened on 2 accounts, after 10 days the Drafts are frozen and can not be completed or listed ...
Now I have to figure out how to get off the "special" status.

My drafts disappeared altogether, and there was plenty of time left to complete them. Quite disconcerting.

@nobody*s_perfect Thanks but I tried in both Seller Hub Drafts and the Classic My eBay page Drafts file, two different computers running two different Windows versions and two separate accounts and 2 different anit-virus programs ... cleared cookies, temp internet file, history and the leaves off the driveway to no avail ...

That scared me. I have many drafts ready to go as soon as I get around to adding the photos (hate that part). So I ran to check mine and they pulled up okay to complete. I thought they were stored longer than 20 days.

Yet they think sellers are going to trust them to store their unlisted inventory? (That's if they ever figure out how to do that in the Hub)
No, the REAL FEAR is when Adyen and eBay have control of our money ... can you imagine trying to figure out why your $$ is not being transfered and Home Office replying with "we are aware of the glitch and have a ticket in for it to be corrected ... it may take a week or longer ... or maybe a month or more, we're not sure but will let you know. In the meantime, increase your sales by 12% by offering Free Shipping!!!"

Hi mr lincoln
Possible glitch another person had issues & posted here
seems anything around the 8th is the issue, anything after they can get to
Did you lose all your drafts ? Hope not

Hey Labs, thanks for the post ... yes, I lose every single one and I know for sure 10 days or later. BUT wait! I think the other reason may be the new and stupidly NOT improved DRAFT page they just rolled in to my accounts ... seriously, within the last 1/2 hour ( I just created a new thread on it) ... maybe my accounts were queued in to the new system waiting to go live (with thousands of other unsuspecting victoms) and as such my Drafts were being frozen. eBay is the common denominator between the accounts since they are on separate computers, completely separate IDs, completely separate PP accounts, completely separate Windows versions, browsers, etc. The old page format I could see 8 Drafts per page ... the new on only 2 - pic below ...

Maybe I'm a chicken at heart, but my experience with the unstable platform goes back years - lost lsitings, sold items relisted, etc.
Anyway, I decided to go with a third party listing co. My drafts, listings and pictures are saved there. If I find a similar or same item to sell. I just pull up the 'old' listing, make revisions and list.
As a back up, I keep all my pictures on my computer or thumb drive and the verbiage for all my listings in Word. I can copy and paste from both as needed. I know it sounds repetitive but it really isn't and has paid off over the years,

@patd3283 That's a good approach but is that other program something you pay for? I tried Turbo Lister once but did not like it but that was only for one account on one computer ... the IDs I am refering to reside on different computers (I have chosen NOT to login in to both accounts on the same computer).

I use Auctiva - about 9.95 per month on one account only. Guess it could be used on 2 but don't know how to do that. I am really small potatoes. Since time is money, I figure it pays for itself.
But I think the real secret is keeping the pictures and verbiage 'locally' .
