Double listing

Anonymous
Not applicable

Has anyone else noticed that eBay is double listing auctions?

When I click on an item and then I scroll down to click on sellers other items it will show you everything that seller has but then it’ll start showing it again. That makes it look like the seller has more than one of that item.

That just happened to me. I SOLD a locomotive last week and it automatically relisted so someone else bought it again today.

I want to give him his money back but since he has zero feedback I’m concerned about him giving me a negative. I had that happen a couple of weeks ago also.

The item for sale clearly said tractor only, truck and trailer not included - only there for scale.

The buyer gave me a negative feedback because I would not send him a $150 diorama for $10. eBay would not take the negative strike off even though the buyer was clearly at fault - not to mention that I gave him positive feedback.

Re: Double listing

Yes, they have done this to us too.

Happened when I had a 1 of a unique item that I knew I could not get again.

When you call them on it, they blame you for doing it.

WRONG!!

Also, they cannot explain why a listing falls off and does not get relisted every month.

They say this cannot happen.

Try keeping up with 1000 fixed price listings.

They have a 25 year old selling platform that they throw band aides on to keep it fresh.

For the $ 15,000 in fees we pay each year, we should get a lot more.

Re: Double listing

Use a ruler or something for sale, never show items you're not actually including in the listing
