Does this negatively impact my store or traffic?

I received this today and it sounds like I'm not on the hook, but still worry that it will potentially impact sales. What the heck happened? Any good take-aways?

RESTRICTED ITEM

Dear Len,
We are writing to inform you that your recent transaction sold through the Global Shipping Program to [3699] cannot be completed.

The item in question has been deemed restricted. This could be due to import/shipping restrictions or eligibility requirements within the Global Shipping Program. The item will not be shipped forward to its final destination and will not be returned to you.

Don’t worry! Your buyer will be notified and refunded automatically by eBay within 72 hours. You will retain the buyer’s original payment. At this time, the transaction is considered complete, and no further action is needed.

Does this negatively impact my store or traffic?

No, it won't affect your account.  Whatever it was you sold was not allowed to be shipped into the country that the buyer lives in, or it was too large (there are size restrictions).  You keep the money, buyer gets refunded and GSP keeps the widget to resell or whatever they do in this situation.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

It won't affect your sales.  I sold a rosary to a buyer in Uruguay. Used the GSP service only to have it returned to me because that country restricts the sale of jewelry from other countries.  I got hold of the buyer who lives in New Jersey in the summer and Uruguay in the winter.  She was very nice and even sent me extra money to ship it to her in the states.  This happened to me twice, but one for a different reason and I believe it had more to do with the GSP program than the item. I don't use it anymore..headaches I don't need.
