Did you mean:

Does this count as extortion to you?

A buyer left a negative feedback. I reached out wondering what the problem was. Ultimately I agreed to send him another item and did. Tracking said it arrived to him but he claimed to have never received it. So obviously I’m not even able to send a feedback revision request, I mean I AM able to but not by my standards as I know he won’t follow through with it.

I never even mentioned anything about the feedback in any of my messages. But the last message he sent me was “I never received the item so I’m not going to change my feedback”.

I don’t even know if this qualifies for extortion because I agreed to send him the additional item during post sale. There was never any previous talk about feedback, and this message basically is saying he didn’t get the item (service) that isn’t part of the original transaction, thus his negative feedback will remain.

Is it extortion?

In my opinion, no.

It is not extortion.

It's not feedback extortion because he left the neg without contacting you and even after you initiated contact, feedback was never mentioned.
