Does ebay even care about amazon sellers?

Does ebay even care about amazon sellers on ebay?  I mean they are all over the place using their prime accounts to ship items on ebay.  The absolute WORST is .  I've run across several in the past few months and each time I leave feedback (usually neutral) about how they are drop shipping, ebay removes it!  I want to let others know they are drop sellers and spread the word.

Why are they allowing this?  Coorporate greed?  They simply don't care?

That seller absolutely does NOT use their prime membership to ship items from AZ. They use fulfillment by AZ and I love them for it, as I'll get Sunday delivery, even when ordered through eBay.

Some sellers do abuse Prime, that's true, but AZ catches it when the volume gets too high and too many alternate addresses.

If the seller in the OP was doing that, AZ would ban them, week one, with their volume.

Why would buy that from eBay knowing it's being dropshipped from amzn?

If you're getting ebay-purchased deliveries on Sunday, that's Prime and it is against Amzn rules.  Amzn is like any mega-corporation - they don't always catch everyone right away.

Using FBA Prime to dropship violates the amzn UA.

A seller can use multi-channel fulfillment to ship their own items from an amzn warehouse, but it adds to costs starting at around $8 fees to amazon for every item, and the item is not going to come by Prime when you buy it on eBay.

I know this seller uses FBA ... now the items I ordered that came on Sunday were during the holidays, so it could just have been regular USPS Sunday delivery.

Why would I buy from them on eBay and not AZ? First time I ordered I didn't know they had an AZ prescense. The second time, the item was offered on eBay with free shipping, but same item price + shipping on AZ.

I had forgotten about them until the OP posted the name. But FBA is not Prime.

The sellers who use their Prime membership, you get the little "hope you enjoy your GIFT from seller name here" note AZ includes when a Prime member uses their account to send a gift.

Oh I see what you said, I didn't know there was a FBA Prime. I thought there was Prime (personal) and FBA. Like I said the two things that came on Sunday were in December, so it could have been holiday deliveries and I was confused.

If a seller is selling FBA then all of their items should come addressed to the person who purchased them. That's different from a seller who is using Prime to buy things on Amazon and have them sent to a buyer.

I sometimes buy FBA items on Amazon that come through Prime but I have never had one where it lists me as a gift purchaser.

I've received "gift from XXXX" in the past.  That's a sure way to know they're using their prime account and selling on ebay.

Or they ran out of stock , purchased on A to avoid the defect.

Me ,it matters little as item must come USPS or FedEx if shipped directly by Amazon , it's noted in our account as we wnt use ups in any manner.

And Amazon defaults to UPS .

Had a rep call us and tell us they cancelled a order for us as ups was being used as problem with getting alternative shipper.

OP,

eBay allows drop-shipping because there is nothing wrong with drop-shipping.

And they remove your feedback because there is something wrong with a buyer who leave neutrals to punish sellers for drop-shipping.

I'm glad eBay is doing the right thing and removing the neutral FB that you leave for sellers that use FBA. Just because you don't know how something works, doesn't mean it's wrong.

And if a seller has a physical presence in your state, you MUST pay sales tax. It doesn't matter where the item is housed or where it comes from. Sales tax is listed on the item.

I'll just have to be creative with my feedback since these "sellers" are a nusance.

I know exactly how they are doing business and I don't agree with it.  They arn't "sellers" on ebay, they are drop shippers and should be treated as such.  Low life scum.

They ARE sellers, you just happen to disagree with the way they conduct their business. But if the item is shipped to you and there are no problems, what difference does it make?

Maybe online shopping isn't for you.

The word is research.... I shop both Amazon and eBay among other places for the best deal on the items I'm interested in. If a seller on eBay dropped shiped a item to me from Amazon what that means is I didn't do a good enough job doing research. Wouldn't blame anybody but my self.

OP, there's nothing wrong with what this seller did and you were wrong for giving him a neutral.

Apparently you haven't had something come from Walmart yet, that you purchased on ebay.Smiley Wink What's gonna happen then?

No, they are simply using a third party warehouse to ship their items. That the 3PL happens to be Amazon has no bearing on anything.
