Every so often this type of question comes up and I always wonder why? What would anyone gain from knowing that?

If you are able to see what items are hot and the sales associated with the products you would be able to possibly find wholesalers and sell the product yourself.
So you want to sell something everybody else is already selling? You want to go in with no history against established sellers?
You saw what happened when upstarts tried their hand at a new football league, didn't you?
If I were to know what the hottest selling items were, they would be the last items I would consider selling. See the first line in my Sig below. Dare to be different.

eBay won't give you that information for free, but they will sell it to you now that they bought Terapeak:

Thanks I'll have to look into this. I don't know much about aviation.
I also heard Widgets were a big seller World Wide. You should look up a guy named J. Pierpont Finch. Or maybe J.B. Biggley.

I think you can find some information in Seller Hub > Growth Tab> Sourcing Guidance
Terapeak provides quite a bit of this type of information. There's also at least one other , newerThird Party tool that provides it, but off hand, I can't think of the name, sorry.

If I had that information, I'd be sure to stay away from those items.
(P.S. Dave, that worked..... )
