go sourcing & keep items for yourself?
Latest conversation with Hubby:
Me: Look at the wool blazers I found for myself!!
Hubby: How many wool blazers do you need? We live in South Carolina for cryin' out loud. We get 1 cold month a year.
Me: Yes, but there are 30 days in that month. So to answer your original question, at least 30
I am hoping I'm not alone but I may have to start going to support meetings

That was a great laugh. Thanks for sharing. Yes you need 30. Best regards

heh, I do it all the time
How many old cookbooks do I need? As many as my bookcases can hold, and then some! Fortunately I only collect ones from the 40s and 50s, otherwise I'd have to build a storage shed or something lol

LOVE that conversation, LOL!
But perhaps we need to look more closely at the number thirty. Suppose you follow the old tradition of changing for lunch and dinner; in those situations, you could require as many as 90 blazers if you are changing three times a day!
Or perhaps the best answer is, as many as I want!!!!

And if you work in an office, chances are that the temprature is controlled by a guy wearing a suit.
Meanwhile we are wearing cute (but professional!) dresses or blouses.
So move that 30 days to 260.
Or get a lady boss.

But not one who has hot flashes. Been there, done that, we all froze.

Well, when first married, 1980s
I got Corelle plate set, service for 4.
Later at garage sales.. I can do a 12 place setting of Old Town Blue.
Now,
I have service for 24 of that Blue, Butterfly Gold, and Spring green / craisy daizy.
All just for us.
Oh..
and then I found a Corelle Christmas pattern... bought it because it'd be great to resell.
We used it One Christmas.. then we went back to our Noritake (for Holidays)

Funny you mention that. I've been obsessed with YouTube Videos showing how to make all those odd Jello concoctions from the 1950's. Maybe I'll make my Hubby some Jello & grits

Like Downton Abbey but I guess it would be a more modern version considering I'm my own ladies maid, butler, & cook

I remember a quote by a member of the aristocracy after many were afflicted due to a financial reversal of fortune.
When asked about the change, he said it wasn't so bad. I ring, and I come.
(referring to ringing for his butler)
