If you purchase and print USPS tracking at your house and then stick a package with the barcode into your mailbox for shipment, does it work? Or do you need to go to the post office and buy it in person?

Your mail carrier is a gem. Hope you are able to keep him. And it won't hurt to reward him occasionally for his service. Cookies are good.

I am jealous of the great carriers some of you have.
I did that with a few letters and he totally ignored them. Just put more mail on top of them.
