I just got this message from a buyer asking me this for a listing that has the size chart in the item description as well as a screenshot of it and uploaded as a photo right after the gallery photo.
I don't know who to blame here, the buyer or ebay's listing designs.

I don't know who to blame either, but when I get a question like that where the information is already in the listing, I answer without trying to make the buyer look stupid. "Thanks for your interest. I've attached an image of the size chart to this message." Sometimes it results in a sale.

Yea, I go a bit further in to the offensive territory when I answer them though but sugarcoat it.
Something like, "The size chart is in the description of the listing, but ebay has re-designed the listings now making it really hard to find that section. Here is an image of that size chart attached to this message. Thanks." So at least it reminds the buyer to take a glance at the description next time.

i cannot find the size chart and may be due to so much to look thru. I would have loved if seller sent me the link to where it is. Im now over making the purchase. 😞

I just answer their question - the passive-aggressive stuff is obvious and unappealing.
oooo...time traveling thread!

I don't trust size charts.
I suspect your buyer, like me, has some slightly unusual body measurement, or has been burned by a manufacturer's chart that bears little or no relationship to reality.
The buyer is asking you for that particular garment, to get out your tape measure and check that the size indicated is the actual size of the garment.
If you have the garment in hand, this should be no biggie and you can add your answer to your Description for a future customer in case this one doesn't buy.
If you don't, your customer learns that you are dropshipping and can go with that useful information.
