I am trying to list a banknote, which I would like to start at $19,999 plus make me an offer. However, when trying to list it, the system is getting stuck when I enter the above price, and remains in "Saving..." mode. My question is whether I need to list this someway else, because when trying to list it at lower than $1000, then the screen doesn`t freeze! But when switching back to the high price, the screen freezes again!

You are probably getting blocked because your selling limits don't go up that high.
I would not sell a $20k item here. Far too much risk of losing both the item and the $.
JMO.

You are in Cyprus.
I would not sell that Internationally.
Do local pickup - cash only in your home country on your home selling site.

Honestly, I would not sell an item valued that high on eBay. I have seen too many horror stories here of people getting scammed. Especially with coinage.

Check your selling limits on your Seller Dashboard, as it sounds as if you are trying to list over your limit.
Board wisdom suggests that you sell things that you have the same amount of feedback for, so for a $20,000.00 item, your feedback would be in the realm of 20,000. Be aware of what can happen post sale. You may want to try to sell that locally.
Good Luck to you.

A banknote means money, right?
I'm pretty certain this is the rule everywhere,
but most Postal systems don't give you insurance coverage for mailing money.
So, if it's lost in the mail ......

I was a lister for a local gold buyer and listed many many items of that type of value with no problem. You need to have your selling limit increased and probably contact customer care to see if they want the item authenticated. Also if you have a lot of items in the same catagory they will put restrictions on you and of course feedback it very important. You can have eBay valet sell for you for a little more money. You may be better off doing an auction and setting a reserve price on the item. It will cost you a little more in fees but it shows you are a serious seller. Also make sure you set strict rules up for international buyers. I know when my former boss sold say a Rolex to someone international he would only use the global shipping and they must pay for insurance. Good Luck.

OP is in Cyprus. They can't use ebay valet. OP's seller limits are below $19k. They can't sell the bank note here.
