A seller reached out to me about this issue and gave me permission to share these screenshots of an apparent display error between the Traffic page and other reports.
In this example, the Traffic report shows 1 Organic sale on September 3rd, 2 Organic sales on September 5th and 1 Promoted sale on September 6th.
But the Order overview page has 1 Promoted sale on September 3rd, 1 Promoted and 1 Organic sale on September 5th, and 1 Promoted sale on September 6th - contradicting the Traffic report.
They also provided screenshots of their ad report showing the correct amounts that match the Order overview page.
And in this instance it can't be eBay's go to excuse of the ~72 hour reconciliation period because they also provided a screenshot of their Payments tab showing that for each of those Promoted sales, the ad attribution and fee charge happened within less than 5 minutes of the sale.
I've already advised this seller to report the issue using the question mark in the lower right of the page, but just curious if anyone else is seeing discrepancies like this between the Traffic page and other sources of data for the last few days.

Yes, it started this month and is still happening. On Sept 1st 50% of my sales were attributed as promoted on my seller hub sold page, but on the performance traffic sold page it's still listed as 75% organic sales. For Sept 7 sales, the seller hub sold page says 90% were attributed to promoted, but on the traffic report it's reported as 90% organic. Some will flip to promoted in the next few days, but will it match the 90%?
Is it a bug with traffic reporting or is the automated attribution being exposed as being overly generous to promotion sales after buyer habits greatly changed due to new tariff rules? If less people are buying from all those promoted international listings that are still at the top of search results, shouldn't we see an increase in organic sales from all the buyers scrolling below the break and using location filter more than ever?

Sales are slow for me, so not much data. However, I am seeing the same display errors. I can confirm that the items marked as sold via promoted listings on my orders page were charged the ad fee within 5 minutes of the sale.

Thanks @mcdougle4248 ! I've heard from about a dozen more sellers who are also seeing the same thing now too.
devon@ebay are there any open support tickets for this issue?

If I understand right, the sale on the 6th is showing promoted in all locations (aligned), and the 2 sales on the 5th are "mixed" (aligned/misaligned) and the 5th might be too recent to "expect" the Traffic graph to be fully reconciled. But the misaligned one on the 3rd -no excuse for that. EDIT: -unless their excuse is that 72 hours means "business" hours; weekends don't count, cuz software needs rest and family time. 😆
Also, have you ever seen any Traffic sales to reconcile in the 'organic' direction, initially reported as promoted but then changed to organic? If not, I would say that's .... very interesting, wouldn't you agree?

@gurlcat yep, the one on the 6th is correct/the same in all places, the 5th has one that is correct & one that isn't, and the one from the 3rd is incorrect and would be beyond the 72 hr reconciliation window so there's no excuse for it - plus like I said, in all cases the Payments tab shows the ad fee was attributed/charged within just a couple minutes of the sale so the potential 72 hr lag wouldn't be a factor any way.
And so far today at least that seller says nothing has changed, it's still showing the incorrect info for both the 3rd and 5th.
I've never seen any Traffic sales reconcile in the organic direction after initially being reported as Promoted before...it is interesting and a strange one for sure.

I can't give any correlating data because I was in a total sales drought the first 6 days of Sept. 😔
But for what it's worth, I got an organic sale last night and a promoted one this morning, both of which are displaying congruently across all screens (assuming the organic one won't 'reconcile' of course -but as far as I know I have never had that happen, just heard of it happening to other people).
