Confused!
Posted on Ebay
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Ford-M...JbcHc0&vxp=mtr
But in researching VIN since Marti doesn't say HCS just GTCS and found this which is by previous seller stating not original motor and he put the emblems on? He states because no holes in fenders (could this be a real HCS or a regular mustang with VIN added or a real GTCS and not an HCS?)
Now posted as numbers matching HCS!!!

On the right side - middle of page - is a report item link.
Not that ebay will do anything about it.

I like to think anyone dropping 35k on a classic would do their due dilligence. When I was a teenager (late 90's) it was kind of a joke that anyone claiming to have an SS camoro or other desireable moniker probaby just bought and glued some emblems on it.
My friend bought a 69 Z28 that turned out to fake but was still a fantastic car and well worth the $4000 he paid. It accelerated so fast you thought it was scary but you didn't know real fear until you wanted to stop and moved your foot over to the manual brakes.
Back then some performance package emblems just made you look a little cooler but didn't add very much to the value. Now with rare original options commanding huge premiums one would hope the buyers are even more aware then us kids were.
