Anyone know how to disable the irritating eBay autofill when searching for items? When I enter my search terms, eBay changes it to something else entirely. Thanks.

I would also like to know - very frustrating.

Try putting " " around the term............(quotation marks)

Quotation marks don't work any more. Using a " or ( have both been reported to trigger the annoying autofill. Usually, it autofills your last search (from before eBay broke the search). And there's no way to edit it, because it just keeps auto-correcting-mistaking whatever you try to type.
You can use the advanced search box instead. That still works, but it's very clunky, awkward and difficult. It was much easier to just type the search parameters into the search box.
You can also use a third-party search app. They are much more effective and better than eBay's search. I think I will be abandoning eBay search pretty quickly. It's pretty much the only way to stop all the junk, sponsored ads, irrelevant results and hidden listings that eBay keeps pushing on buyers (drive buyers away, more like).
Watchcount.com and Picclick.com both work very well. Intuitive and well-designed, they show you what you asked for.

Thanks for the suggestion of using a different site for searching. I'm going to try that.
Since two days ago, every time I use qoutotation marks to decrease search results in Ebay's search engine, it autofills with "marvel premiere" "33"" and is driving me nuts. If I refresh multiple times, it will stop doing that and I can type in a search like normal. I've tried different browsers, resetting my cache, etc but nothing has fixed it. It's incredibly annoying and I'm happy to see that it's not just me imagining this lol
