Digital items, allowed?

I was curious to see if any of the Trump NFT's were here yet and yes there are a few, as well as other NFT's.  I thought digital items were not allowed here.  Am I wrong?

Well, they have him wearing hip waders for the hunting one.  Maybe it's all AI.  10% of any resale kicks back to somebody or other.  Hopefully the people reselling have factored that into their asking price. 🤑

You've been here long enough to know that it is possible for a seller to list an item that violates policy 🙂

I would think twice about trying to sell them ANYWHERE, seeing as how the whole venture is likely facing lawsuits soon.

You don't need a real custome.  You just need a picture of your face and then everything else can be faked/drawn or whatever is the word.

The face looks photoshopped as well ... or at least from a decades' old photo.  😋

The idea is anyone can own a Mona Lisa replica but there is only one Mona Lisa.  Same can be done with digital art because of computer coding.  Best I can explain.  I personally believe it'd a fad.

But is there only one (coded) copy of each of the Trump "art" pieces?  Like say the 'cowboy' one for instance, just one copy that someone got for $99?

There are multiples of each.

But you can't pick which one you want, you pay your $99 and get a random selection from the set.  IF you can access it - complaints are that buyers cannot access their NFTs.

I'd better stop here.

I'll take the baton because I just can't help myself. He's selling NFTs you can't access? Oh that's hilarious. Color me shocked. Grifters gonna grift.

Re: Digital items, allowed?

How great that they're finding the real photos!

Maybe I'm imagining it, but his arms in the fake photos look longer than the ones the costume was taken from.  Could they be trying to give him a gorilla-look intentionally?  [Not that gorillas aren't totally adorable.]

[Speaking of gorillas ... anyone liking gorillas should see the YouTube videos of the gorilla family at the Kyoto City Zoo ... especially the earlier ones when the 'little boy' was learning to walk.  It's just fascinating watching them in their giant 3-dimensional enclosure.  I keep wishing my local kid's park had something that cool when I was younger ... MUCH younger.]

People were complaining on truth social.  The company doing this (apparently operating out of an anonymous strip mall with a UPS) probably goobered up access - the entire thing is at least at Four Seasons Landscaping level. They sold out the run (I'm not asking questions lol) so they'd better step it up and make sure people get their product.

The entire thing to me is a welcome comedy break and I value it for that alone.
