Delivered but missing

I have a question.  If an item shows as delivered and the customer says they didn’t receive it am I liable for a full refund?  This has only happened once, to me a year ago.  Is this coming out of my funds?  Do I have to refund them?  How would I be responsible for a missing delivery?  Porch pirates are all over the place now.

Delivered but missing

If the buyer opens an Item Not Received claim, enter the 'Delivered' tracking info into the case. You'll be covered.

No, you are not responsible.

If the buyer opens a INR (item not received) claim, simply respond with the tracking number that shows it was delivered and you are good to go.

The case should close in a few days in your favor.

Buyers are responsible for ensuring a safe location for the delivery of their mail and packages. If tracking shows delivered and you shipped to the address shown in the order details, you’re covered. If your buyer opens an INR just upload tracking into the case. The case should close in your favor. Do not refund.
