We've been selling about 18+ items/day since summer of last year. Our number of listings has continued to grow. We've been adding 5-15 listings/day- sometimes with quantities in the listings. At our peak over the past few months we were shipping around 28 sales/day. Now, we're selling around 5-10/day. This is well below our norm and depressingly below our peak.
All of the sudden our sales dropped off. Our impressions are down 10% and page views down 12%.
Our growth has come from increased listings and better pricing strategies. We've been using the same strategy, and we have great feedback and are top-rated and all of our levels are above par. I don't know what has happened other than our traffic has decreased. Anyone know what has influenced this?

Lack of Google sending traffic, lack of eBay's ability to consistently serve web pages to users, users getting frustrated with screen freezes when they come here, users who never come back due to eBay's constant server and slow page load times, ads that slow page loads, it is a very long list, sellers are the biggest eBay buyers, so what goes around, comes around.

-I am curious where you got this info and how many users?
-In sales sometimes things are slow
-Americans who file annual tax returns are coming up on the deadline to do that, perhaps they are waiting to see what if any $$ they will get back before doing some eShopping!
-Maybe folks just aren't buying what you are selling
-If indeed it is a failure on Both Google and eBay's part there is not a whole lot one can do about it other than wait for it to change.

Why would it be a failure on Google's part, they run something called Google shopping and Google Checkout and now have 'Buy Buttons' on search results, Google could not care less about eBay, eBay should sell out to Google while they still have a business left.

We've been selling on eBay UK consistently since last year and had our best start to 2017 with high sales until last Thursday when sales dropped off completely!
Like yourself we normally relist daily adding new items and generally sell on average 20 - 30 sales per day. Now we are only selling 8 - 10 a day. and last weekend was the worst we have ever had.
Sales compared to last month are 12% down and international sales are almost non existent since last Thursday. It was as if someone turned off my listings, even though I can see they are still at the top of the search and also I have 99.9% feedback and top rated.
Glad it's just not me it's happening to.

How do you grow when you sell 18+ per day but only add 5-15 per day? Just curious.

They have multiples of some items they sell.

I am in the same boat as my other fellow ebayers. I was just preparing my income tax return for my ebay business and it is a sobering chore. I have been sellling on ebay for 12 years now and I have never seen such a dramatic decrease in sales. I have improved my listings, taking much better pictures and sourcing more exciting product. The result? Sad decrease in sales. Then I find out that Ebay is going to stick its hand in my pocket again and reduce my discount to 10% from 20% . I truly hope that we eventually get another platform to sell on besides Ebay or Amazon.

When people like me stop selling here because of the never ending beta tests on my account, they need someone else to fill those shoes. Like you.
How much do you wanna bet that your in tests, they LOVE to use top rated sellers for those. Good luck for once they take your account to use, they never remove you.

Lots of reasons. And with all these problems, you better believe that EB's revenue is down too. They probably know the problem and trying to fix it.....taking too long.

I have been selling here since 2000. I used to have more items but slowed down to semi-retire. I was still selling $300 to $400 per week. Until two weeks ago. Last week my sales report showed a whopping $29 in sales. I'm thinking this may have something to do with eBay stopping any active scripts and YouTube videos, of which I had many. I have re-coded all of my listings with the new video format and checked them with the Bulk Active Content Scanner and it shows zero listings need repair now. It did show over 300 two weeks ago. This is when I started removing active content and my sales went into the dumper. Might want to check your listings for Active Content. They'll be pulled in June 2017 if they have it. At this point I wonder why I went to all the trouble.

You are not the only one. I don't do anywhere near as you guys but I was getting five sales a week. This week only one. Over the last month sales keep slipping week by week getting worse. Same thing happened on another site I sell on. That started last year. That site is now dead.

It has been very slow for us also since the weekend before Easter. We'll get 3 sales within a couple of hours, then nothing for 24 hours or so. We have no idea, but I suspect it's a combination of the fact that Easter marks the end of the kid-gift buying season that starts in late November, fear over Trumpy's wacky approach to North Korea, and eBay not being much of a presence on Google. We looked for our eBay items on Google, and on half of them they're from eBay India or eBay Canada. It's like the US eBay is totally blocked by Google.
