Dec 2017 our last Month

Thank you.

Looks like December will be our last month to have a store on Ebay or any online store.

eBays profits from our store between the monthly subcrtptions and 10% off the sale prices.  Literally has eBay making 10 times more than us this last year alone.  Not to mention Paypals 3-5% for postage.

Can't run even a store front at the local mall losing that much to the mall management.

So effective at the end of December 2017 we will be closing our doors

We wich you all the best

So very sad to see a seller leave and close their store.

Is there any way you can raise your prices to compensate for the fees?  If you can, you won't feel like such a large chunk is being taken away from you.

I don't mean to imply you don't know how to figure expenses and your costs into a listing, but sometimes a little tweak or suggestion might help, and that is all I would hope to do, to enable you to stay.

But I understand and wish you all the best always.  God bless you and yours as you go forward.

Just another thought~~even if you give up your store, you might consider still selling here but using your free listings to do so.

Many do this.  You don't have to have a store to sell here.

I hope you will consider this as it may work to your advantage.

A bit of snooping around and I agree - it's a prudent decision on your part. I'm sure you had high hopes for it's success.

You are in an wildly overcrowded market. For perspective, I looked just a woman's shoes. Oh my, over seven million listings.  It's doubtful many sellers are making any significant money.

I trust you'lI continue to list on eBay after closing your store. I'm the last person that who would know anything fashion. However might there some value in combining some matching or complimentary fashion items into one listing of several garments and adding combined shipping, insurance and eBay's no effort commion costs shown as a separate item?

Then while waiting for those fresh sales to come pouring in, devote some time to defining a market that's not so crowded. And what market might I suggest? No, I don't know.

Heck, I don't know what I don't know. I know something about machining, something about engineering design, something about helicopters and after all these years, I'm still learning about money.

Keep smilling, enjoy the Christmas holidays with family and friends and we all hope for the best next year.
