Dear eBay

I have absolutely HAD IT with this place... I can't close my account yet... but my listings are deleted. I changed my SSN, gave a fake bank account number that they can legitimately gripe about.  But no worries, no listings = no sales = no payouts!!  They wouldn't let me remove the credit card... no worries, card canceled.  Changed my email address and I'm good to go.  They have pushed me too far.   A customer canceled a sale, and ebay has the nerve to take (TAKE) .30 cents out of my account for something i had NO control over????  That's really the least of my problems...  I opened a checking account just for ebay and etsy... Etsy had no problem whatsoever verifying my bank account.  ebay on the other hand, couldn't seem to accept yes for an answer.  They'd been distributing payouts, TAKING .30 cents for something i had nothing to do with yet, they felt my account still wasn't verifiable?????  Screw you ebay!!  screw you to the nth degree... I have had enough.  I have been here since 2000, 21 years, and they can't verify my account???  Good Riddance.

Re: Dear eBay

Hi everyone,

This thread is getting a bit heated. Please remember that, while it is fine to disagree with others, discussion should always remain courteous and respectful.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Re: Dear eBay

I'm hoping the OP realizes all those member id changes are visible to everyone, including eBay (obviously), and that eBay's records will contain all the historical information the OP now things s/he has "changed," including things like real names, addresses, phone numbers, social security numbers, payment methods, et al.

You know what? Maybe you should actually READ what I wrote. Maybe something will penetrate the gray matter.

Re: Dear eBay

The corruption and the unwillingness to believe someone who has been a part of this organization for 21 years is what needs attention.  Any heatedness on my part is in direct response to those who decide to engage me rudely.  Some people think they are just that witty with their little smart a s s responses think they know something they don't. I have lived on this planet long enough that I will not be disrespected for what I know is a valid issue. Shut the thread down if you must. But I will strike back at these morons that like seeing their useless integrations interfering where they do not need to.

So...when you find out you're wrong, you slip quietly into the good night... Yeah you would make a great politician.

Re: Dear eBay

@stevensgl

I never said you had been selling for 21 years.  I pointed out that you’ve been here for twenty years, and it was a good run.  You came back with the claim that you haven’t been selling for that long.

it doesn’t negate my point - your relationship with eBay has been a good one.  Look back with fondness, not anger, is my point, even if things have soured.
