Have a Z32 Rear Differential Cover sitting here in the floor beside me. Wondering why it's there, and not in an inventory location where it should be.
Well, the inventory location will be in my listing. So, I'll just go to my listing, see where it's supposed to be, and put it up.
I search "Z32 Rear Differential Cover"
Find it about half way down the page. See the price, and then I wonder why it's even still here?
So, I sort Low$ to High, then filter to USED (get rid of all those new gaskets and stuff).
It's now gone. Nowhere to be found.
Title is:
NISSAN 300ZX Rear Differential COVER oem factory NA aluminum VISCOUS LSD Z32
And there's the reason sellers intentionally load up Item Specifics with borderline irrelevant keywords and numbers. They don't trust the search, the sorts, the filters to do what they say. So they do anything and everything they can just to be seen.

Are you referring to searching your Active Inventory or are you trying to do this with the buyer search?
I have never had a problem with searching active inventory unless the listing has been subject to review for policy compliance.

The search is filtering one of your keywords out and I am not sure which one it is.

Searching as a buyer. Or rather searching as I "think" my customer would search.

@redlinear what's a 'rear differential cover' ? 😁
I have storage bags (new) for my Jeep's freedom panels that I'll never use.
Do u think they would sell here?
Wondering if I'll have the same problem properly listing the specifics and title 🤔

The search was filtering out the word Z32, but after multiple searches it stopped doing that.

There's your problem. If you're searching while logged in, search won't show you your own items because you can't purchase your own listing. Try logging out and then doing the search again.

I wasn't logged in. It's not that I couldn't find it. My search found it half way down the page under best match.
It's that I lost it when I decided to sort and filter (as most shoppers will do in order to find the cheapest one or the best deal).
Being logged into that account found it differently. Right at the top of every search, filter, sort. SO, being logged in, eBay showed me that it was fine.
But a buyer won't be logged in.
If you can't trust the search functions/filters.. How do you know if your prices are right?
If you have difficulty finding something you KNOW is there.... It makes you wonder what you don't know about that you are not seeing.

Yes. My neighbor had some Jeep top storage bags and I sold them for him.
Pretty quickly if I remember correctly.
