ARE WE SELLERS JUST HERE TO VENT OFF, OR AN EBAY REPRESENTATIVE IS AMONGST US TAKING NOTES TO REALLY ADDRESS MOST ISSUES OF SELLERS?
MY ISSUE IS ABOUT HIGH ITEMS NOT BEING AS DESCRIBED 9% CHARGE FROM EBAY. KNOWING MOST BUYERS HERE ARE CON AND KNOW EBAY LOOPHOLES AGAINST SELLERS.
EBAY REALLY NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT A LOT OF BUYERS, BECAUSE MOST TIMES WHEN A CASE IS OPENED AGAINST A BUYER NOTHING IS DONE.
SELLERS ARE ALWAYS AT THE LOSING END, WHILE EBAY AND BUYERS ARE WIN-WIN. THAT STILL CAN'T COMPREHEND.

Nobody from eBay is monitoring these boards, looking for suggestions, problems, or reports. The stated purpose of the community discussion boards is for members to help each other out. Obviously there is a limit to what can be done; this is not the place to report problematic buyers if you want eBay to do something about it. You should read the introduction to the Community, to understand its purpose better:

It's a peer-to-peer community discussion board, made up of eBay buyers and sellers. eBay staff participates only if called upon to clarify a policy or explain an eBay position. They are clearly identified as eBay employees by their member id (XXX@ebay), and their comments have a big blue box outlining the post.

With any luck, the "pink" in the old parlance would be given accurate information to report. These boards exist because eBay Customer Service is an oxymoron when it comes to sellers.

I think you may have replied to the wrong message, since the response has no relation to what I posted. Perhaps you meant to reply to the OP.

Sellers cannot open "cases" against buyers. Sellers can only "report" buyers which provides eBay a record of a complaint. This is the right thing to do if you have a legit complaint. The complaints will not be reviewed unless there are very numerous complaints and the buyer ends up with a transaction(s) that actually are reviewed by eBay employees concerning larger monetary issues. Who knows how many before eBay would take action against a buyer?
You are selling in a tough category.
You mentioned being be charged extra for too many INAD cases. The only way to get rid of that extra charge is to wait for those transactions to drop off after a year or have a lot of successful sales to dilute the infringing percentages.

Your CAPS lock is engaged.

If I read your post correctly, your complaint is the increased final value fee penalty you are being assessed due being below standard in your service metrics for item not as described returns?
If that is the case, have you ever thought of offering FREE 30 returns? The postage you pay for returns has to cheaper than the 4% penalty you are being charged on your sales? By offering FREE returns it lowers the likelihood that a buyer will file a INAD return when they change their mind with their purchases. The main reason buyers file false INAD returns is because they DON’T want to pay the return postage.

"most buyers here are cons and know eBay loopholes against sellers"?
(Pardon me if I did not use all caps.)
Where do you get your information and thanks a lot.

"MOST BUYERS HERE ARE CON AND KNOW EBAY LOOPHOLES AGAINST SELLERS."
If you actually believe that you should leave this platform immediately.
It is not true. Anyone having problems with most of their transactions needs to take a hard look at themselves.

I don't understand your comment. Who's Kathy? What "stuff" is she putting "where it belongs." Can you help me out by putting your post in context for me? It doesn't seem to have any correlation to what I posted.

DOES THIS REALLY WORK?
Yes, works just the way eBay intended.
1. Saves eBay money on support costs. Sellers helping other sellers. Sellers venting here rather than directly to eBay or eBay support.
2. Saves eBay money on development costs. Seller's ideas for improvement/bugs shared with other sellers. No cost for eBay to revue/analyze/fix seller feedback issues. Development guided by eBay who decides what sellers need (without having to bother with feedback for improvement or identified bugs from sellers on what sellers think they need or bugs that should be fixed). 🙄
DOES THIS WORK FOR EBAY SELLERS?
Yes and No. Different question with different answers. 🙄

"KNOWING MOST BUYERS HERE ARE CON"
Not True. EBay would have been out of business decades ago if that were true. Most people in the world are good and want to do the right thing. If you believe most buyers are deceitful it may be the products you've decided to sell are high scam items.

I agree. I have been on eBay for over 20 years. I believe 99% of my interactions with buyers and sellers have been with good and honest people. Hopefully this is not the exception.
