DEC 2024 SALES - BOOM or BUST??

So, was it a Merry Christmas or did Scrooge come early this year? How were your December 2024 Sales?  Boom or Bust?

Down about 30%, but an average month for 2024. I’m taking into account some refunds for items that haven’t moved in weeks.

My December has been a lot better than the past few months, also a lot better than most Decembers I think.  But I wouldn't call it a boom, nor do I think it had anything to do with Christmas (I sell almost entirely used items). 

I think I just got hold of some nicer inventory items.  Oh and Confucius told me this one day around the middle of last month, when I got some stir-fry rice I couldn't even really afford but was starving while sitting in a parking lot, waiting for Uber Eats delivery offers to pop up:

I sell fairly obscure music memorabilia with limited appeal, so my stuff is not really gift-giving material. But my sales were quite strong, compared to recent years.

I am happy with my sales, for the amount of time I have put into it. I usually back off making new auctions or listings this time of year because we are busy with other things.

Semi Boom for me but not looking forward to 2025.
