Re: Customers With Demands

A good reason to bother would be that you don't care to deal with him/her again.

Re: Customers With Demands

It's even better when they also tell you how to pack the items.

Re: Customers With Demands

I had one that was complaining about a 5% coupon, which he claimed didn't even cover the cost of the shipping. I looked at the listing and realized I had transposed the price when I listed it and it was actually already $10 cheaper than my competitors on here, plus his 5%. Same item goes for much higher off here (and I have a minimum of 100% markup on my prices). Guy got a nice response from me saying I'm sure you can find it elsewhere on the web. Good luck to you. Then I blocked him. People can be so ridiculous.

Re: Customers With Demands

Some buyers ask for more pictures, and when you provide them, they give you a lowball offer.

Re: Customers With Demands

I've never had a person demand I sell them anything. Probably because I do not have make offers and those that do I just ignore.

@meme6253  I love those buyers! I always reply, "How nice for you that you have so many options to choose from. Thanks for looking!"

Re: Customers With Demands

Since most of my stuff isn't sold too many other places, I just sometimes get this: "What is your best price?"

I feel like answering:  "A million dollars."

But most of the time people who want to dicker with me are really nice about it.

Hell is empty. And all the devils are here.

Re: Customers With Demands

I had one recently trying to lowball on an NVR, last month and again this month. What was pizzzing me off was that he was asking me questions that I know he already knew the answers to, thus trying to be a pest and wasting my time. I took the item down and blocked him.  Probably put it back up this week....

Re: Customers With Demands

It's not just on Ebay.  A few years back I was working at an antique mall in a town where there are several antique stores in the same block. A customer brought a Pyrex bowl up to the counter, and said "There's one just like it across the street for ten dollars less, but I'm tired and don't want to walk back there, so can I have this one for that price?" Nope, sorry.
