A customer contacted me and said it was an emergency and wanted me to call him to conclude our business any further and left his number. It's an auto part I'm selling and I'm in the states, he is in Canada. Is this normal or part of a scam? Please help with suggestions pls thnx

Yes, definitely. There's nothing normal about a buyer insisting you "call" them, especially if they haven't even bought anything yet.
Tell them to call 911 instead.

Total scam as pop said - report the buyer

Um, yeah, just as a person who's done this for years (not just with my account now... shared one with my mom for years before she gave it up)...
You need something right away?? Contact me FIRST and see if I can do that for you.
I mean, a car part, depending on the car, someone might need something right away if it's their mode of transportation... if it's an older car, some things aren't at your fingertips.. (I have an 89 vw cabriolet.... I get that)
But international..... I'd be hesitant... especially on here, cuz, anything can happen, and eBay won't have your back as the seller

@ebrock1516 All transactions must be completed on this platform. A buyer asking you to call them to conclude your business would be breaking that policy, so report them and don't bother to respond. Your instincts are telling you this is incorrect. Best of luck to you....

I'd block ASAP and not reply.
