Ebay used to have the absolute best Customer Service I had ever seen! Could get a call back within minutes...
Now??? It has has changed to the absolute worst Customer Service that I have ever dealt with. What changed?
Whenever I call with a problem, they cannot fix the issue, they give me the run about and tell me what I want to hear. They lie to you and say that they will definitely fix the issue and within 24 hours you will see the results and then it never happens. On one issue, I called back 3 times, they said the same thing and it never did get fixed......
And you can never talk to someone from America. Did Ebay transfer to all Customer service agents from overseas?
It is so frustrating to say the least!
Is anyone else having issues with Customer Service?

To speak to a rep, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Contact us"
In the chatbot that opens type in AGENT then press Send to bypass the bots
You will see options to Chat live with an agent, or request a call back.
The best information and answers from eBay staff are on Facebook and Twitter.
I have the facebook link but not the twitter one, sorry >

Yep. Qualified C/S can be reached (through emails) starting with a message on the eBay facebook page. Good luck.

Not all CS reps. I spoke with one in the US not long ago, but I grant you that that was the exception rather than the rule. Most companies have outsourced their manufacturing to Pacific rim countries to save on costs, so why should we be surprised when they outsource their customer service for the same reason.

I have no complaint about outsourcing them if we would get the same quality service as before, but so far, the last year, the quality service has dropped considerably, every since they have outsourced it seems to me anyway. I have not had one issue resolved like I used to....

Can't remember when they were outsourced but it was far more than a couple of years ago.

No, their customer service has been terrible for more than a decade.
eBay's contracted cs is based in the Philippines, a dictatorship in a state of chaos. $1 an hour quality for, well, $1 an hour in pay.

Ebay customer service has been outsourced for sometime. Some agents are from the Phillipines, some from India, some from South America. It's a much cheaper route than actually paying someone from the US a decent salary. They read from scripts and basically tell you that everything will be okay, even though they're all clueless. This is a link to go to for better results:

Credible agents from the US. Good luck.
