Custom message to buyer gone from Packing Slip?

I went to print a packing slip yesterday and the custom message to buyer disappeared. In its place is a dropdown menu with canned messages such as:

"Thank you for your purchase! Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns at all!"

(Quotations and italics are actually part of the message)

Is it just me? Any else see this?

My transactions will be less efficient if I can't communicate directly to buyers on the packing slip.

It's not just you - eBay has made this change and many sellers are upset and want it changed back.  Lets hope eBay listens.
