Custom label

I use the custom label under listing info for my warehouse location.  This was a place I could add/edit even if there is an offer on the item.  In the last several days I'm getting a message saying I can not edit due to offer being sent.  I contacted ebay support through messenger & was told that lbeing able to add/edit on custom label with an offer out has never been an option. I hoping other sellers can verify that custom label was some place you could edit even when there was an offer sent.

When you send offers, the offer locks the listing so you won't be able to edit or revise any part of that listing. The offer remains live until it is accepted and paid for, expires after 4 days or the listing is ended.

I understand that. The custom label info was except from that. I added info to this section for years even when offers were pending.  I have a store with over 8000 listings. I use that space for my warehouse location.  I don't always have that location immediately when I list something.

If you go to your actual grid (I can't think of the word to use) of all your listings you may be able to add the SKU or custom information to specific listings without opening up your listings.
