Current return time limit

Not sure what's up with that post format.

"What is the current return time. Have a buyer who bought Wii games from me on 7th Nov and about 5 days ago told me one was playing up. I checked all games before sending. She says it works then stops. SAying it was xmas pressie for her little girl and today messaged me to say a replacement Mariokart is now £24.00. Some are, but one sold for a tenner.

I had said I would buy her another but not for £24, when I sold Mario, plus brand new Zumba plus 3 dance games and more for £50.00. Anyway it is 61 days since the purchase on 7th Nov. I'd be better off telling her to return the lot and reselling as prices have gone up so much!!!"

Ebay has a thirty day return period. Your buyer is outside that return period.  You can deny a return.

Paypal allows 180 days from the date of purchase. Credit cards allow 60 days to one year.  There is nothing to stop your buyer from going to her payment source if you deny a return.

Keep in mind that your 30 metric UK days are shorter than our 30 US days here, because you're further up the globe so you're spinning faster.

So your buyer may still have time to return the games. Also, that's the reason why eBay UK gives you 8 days to respond before eBay can ring out, compared to only 3 weekdays here for eBay US to step in and yelp: 3 days here equals 8 days there.

Return Dates are based on date item was delivered to the customer (NOT date of sale).    Not sure what timeline is for EBAY money back guarantee (if buyer claims "defective or not as described".   Better to just accept the return...Buyer will figure out way to get their money back somehow.
