Creating a coupon questions - I have a store

I'm trying to create a private and public coupon. I'm having a hard time coming up with a unique coupon code. Each time I come up with something, the system says it has been used by another seller. If I come up with a unique code, can I use the same one again?

The other issue I have is adding an image to the coupon. I don't want to use one of my item photos. I don't want the potential buyer to think the coupon is only good for that category. I have been trying to use my logo but the image is too big for the photo box. I've tried using Word, taking a photo of the logo, use Paint, and Snipping Tool.

Why am I making this so difficult?

I've created some coupons but I want to master these two areas before I do any more.

For a unique code a great option is to add part of your store name. So for like 15% off you could do "WKYT15" or if that is taken even "WYTREAS15"

 I don't have this good advice for the image part that's always frustrated me. I feel like the images I try to grab from online (of like a 15% off graphic) are always too small or something

I'm not sure what it should be. In the past I chose one of my images of something I have for sale. I'll try the suggestion from the first reply. But I will take your advise too. What do you use?

I took your advice and checked images on Google. I found all the ones I want. It took some time but I figured out the size being saved needs to be around 30 KB and must be a GIF or JPG then it will work.

first question is yes, IF at time you go to use it again no other seller is using it. Right now, with Black Friday, Small Biz Sat, and Cyber Monday codes are getting harder to be "unique" for coupons... get creative lol 
Depends, i don't use any of those, I just select an image from one my items, but I use Adobe and never had issue.
