Can I put an emoji on the listing or after the name of the sales event? Example:😱 Is it permissible to put things like this? I want to know

The question should not be "can I?". The question ought to be "should I?"

Year ago it was common for headlines to include such things as *L*O*O*K* and other extraneous doo-dads.

That might work on a newspaper classified ad page but eventually people wised up and realized that items are searched for online by things like brand names, descriptions, colors, features, model numbers, etc. They were never searched for by *L*O*O*K* (or emojis)

You have a limited number of characters - use them all but use them WELL. To include something people will never search for is a waste.

eBay doesn't allow special characters not related to the actual item being sold - and no one searches on 😱 anyway.  Google only supports emojis in search results if they're relevant to any search query, which is pretty rare IMHO.
