Counterfeit?

My account keeps getting suspended for selling "counterfeit" items that are NOT counterfeit. Does/Has any other sellers struggled with this issue and what options do we as the seller have?

I have been in contact with customer service over this now more than once but it seems that a report may or may not get made but then the issue has continued.

Counterfeit?

Are you talking about your account being suspended after relisting items involved in a VERO takedown?

Counterfeit?

Apparently this account isn't currently suspended as I see listings posted.

I have a similar issue for an item that I just had flagged and removed for being "counterfeit"

Plus, you have all your mask listed in the wrong category.

Counterfeit?

I just got a similar counterfeit claim for something related to the Los Angeles Lakers.  However, it does NOT have the Lakers logo or the name of the player.  It is an adhesive vinyl sticker of the number 23, which is worn by Lebron James.  I used "LA Lakers" and his name in the ad title.  I checked the Lakers online store and I don't see any similar stickers of a number 23 or any player's uniform number, so what am I counterfeiting?  Is is possible to relist this as "popular basketball player number 23" without using the team or player name?

And how does one contact customer service to discuss this?  It took me a half hour of clicking thru Ebay just to find this community forum (A link used to be easily found at the top of the page years ago) and any links to customer service keep sending me to FAQs.

Substitute the word "counterfeit" for "Unauthorized" (otherwise know as "fake", "pirated", "unlicensed", "illegal" etc.)

Counterfeit?

I just had an item I was selling removed under the Counterfeit Item Policy.  There are a couple interesting twists.  First, the item isn't counterfeit.  (I recognize that's what everyone says who is, in fact selling counterfeit merchandise, but stick with me.)  It is a set of 7 baseball cards  containing one letter each of the word "Pirates" manufactured by Topps in 2009.  A picture of Honus Wagner is on the card.  The cards contain replica or reproduction patches in them, but they are genuine cards.  There are auctions for reprinted baseball cards all over the place.  That isn't what this is.  It's an actual card produced by Topps in 2009 referencing a legend of the game and including a letter patch.  The card specifically says the patch is a replica.  I don't claim anywhere in the listing that the patch is authentic.  I do claim it is an original card because it is not a reprint.  Next twist? I bought the entire set one by one on eBay.  Help me understand how it's legitimate for me to buy these but against policy to sell them?  And of course, you can't reply to the message or appeal the decision.

I still want to sell this set, but I don't know how to straighten this out and I'm concerned that, if I relist the item, my account will be sanctioned.  Help!
