Thanks to China, and a few other countries, who counterfeit about everything you can think of or name this is becoming a HUGE problem in the e-commerce marketplace. As others suggested take them to the post office and get them verified. If they are legitimate simply use them or give them to family or friends that can use them if you can't, rather than trying to sell them.
Virtually every drop shipper selling items out of China has multiple counterfeit items listed on eBay and it is impossible to report and/or cleanup everything. They are also out of reach of any US law enforcement agencies and most of the counterfeiting is being done with the support of the Chinese government.

@chapeau-noir wrote:It takes a lot more than one report - believe me, I'm only one of several vintage sellers who battled to get fake 'vintage' and 'antique' clothing off of here (China made) and may as well have been just picking my nose and singing the Hut-Sut Song.
Forever stamps can only be sold by eligible sellers.

Anyone know how you become eligible to sell Forever stamps? I'm just curious is all. The policy doesn't spell it out.
And could you post a video in your store chapeau-noir of picking your nose and singing the Hut-Hut song? I really need to be entertained today.

I really don't know how one becomes eligible to sell forever stamps, just that it's a requirement - I expect one applies for the status similar to applying for certain equipment.
Unfortunately, no videos of nose picking, but this is a great classic! @firesteel_surplus

Now I'm going to have to find the words to that song and start singing it...

Well I guess that falls under "here let me google that for you" or more correctly..."let me ebay look it up for you".
Interesting things I learn here. I guess I would be authorized to sell forever stamps. Huh.

100% is unfair competition :))

Bad advice.

Hopefully the OP returns to see your post and mark it as "solved". The stamps are not counterfeit just not allowed to be sold by the OP. Only eligible sellers and I doubt the OP is one.

@firesteel_surplus It's an earwig - it was really popular when I was in grad school because Dr Demento was playing it then - periodically you'd hear someone humming it in the hallway, or hear a burst of "brawla...brawla...brawla!" somewhere on campus. Of course, this area having a large Scandinavian population just egged everyone on.

Dr. Demento...we'd listen to him in high school (mid to late 70s cruising Main St in my 70 Nova). We'd pick him up on an AM station from "skip" if the weather was just right from Chicago IL to Mitchell SD. Usually didn't get a lot of time and maybe once a week or so...the weather had to be just right.
What a blast from the past!
