Dear eBay community,
This is a little bit random, but I am a seller on eBay and was wanting to make myself a hat for when I go thrifting. I was wondering if I could use something like this image to put on the hat.
This is only an example, but is this allowed? I know I'm not allowed to use the eBay logo, but can I use the colors? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I was going to comment about the design itself, but I thought ... i better keep my mouth shut. 😉

Back to the "some stores don't like resellers": Can anyone explain that to me in a logical way?
Because some people don't understand that thrift stores are not selling stuff to poor people.
That's a unnecessary consequence of low prices.
If you actually read the 'mission statements' of various charities that run thrift stores, they are making money to finance their actual work.
Now that may overlap what the stores do. For example, a friend who escaped an abusive husband was given beds, bed linens and a kitchen table free by the Salvation Army, who do the same for burned out fire victims. Many church rummage sales are either supporting the infrastructure of the church or a food bank/soup kitchen. Value Village supports Juvenile Diabetes. GoodWill trains the unemployed in how to get and hold a job. Here one charity is WIN, Women In Need, which uses its income to help... well, women in need.
So the store and the sales are not the purpose of the business.
Those who think the store is for poor people are short-sighted. As are those who think the charity shop is there to help them in their resale business.
And those short-sighted people may be shoppers or staff or donors.

Thank you, but I believe I am well aware of the actual purpose of stores like Goodwill etc.
And I believe I had mentioned that in an earlier post. My point was that it's hard to understand why ANY store would not like customers, including resellers. Why should GW care what I do with my purchases after I pay and walk out of the store with them? Even if I drive to the nearest dumpster and toss in my entire shopping bag, that has no affect on the store's bottom line that I can see.

I have seen some resellers who are super full of themselves... complaining about high prices, overvalued items at stores, "educating" managers and employees, etc. THOSE are the resellers that the employees don't care for.
If I walked into a thrift store and announced on a piece of clothing I'm a reseller, then (in my opinion), I'm asking for trouble. I think it's a "pride vs humility" thing
