Not that I have ever done it or even plan to, but has anyone ever heard of someone copying detailed product descriptions from Azn and:
a. Getting away with it extensively.
b. Getting nabbed and having items removed because of it.
In other words, do you think Az patrols Ebay listings and files usage complaints... presumably as a non-ebay user??
I'm not talking indvidual user listings, but the default detail listings which I assume are created by Az when there is a lot of sellers for a product.
Just wondering. Back to listing.

If a bunch of sellers are using the same listing info, chances are good they are using MFG info.
This is common with drop shippers, all using the same stock photo, same boilerplate text.
I can't see Az putting a lot of effort into cleaning up ebay.
example ???? I have not been on Az in years.

I don't think A would be concerned with Ebay, but I could be wrong.

Really? Those highly detailed listings are NOT "composed" by Azn by say combining descriptions input by multiple users? What do they do, pick one at random or the first one entered, or... ?
So if you are the first to list a new product there you get to be the "master creator" of the description for all those following and piggy back on that UPC, even if the descr is total doodoo?
Isn't E heading in that direction lately with the new "33 other new and used" page links and strongly encouraging UPC codes whenever possible?

I used some it myself When goten lazy. I sell alot of kids toys ext even call the mpr and talk to them its same as amazon listing anyhow. I take porations of it myself and add more usefull information when there buying the item from me.
IF selling new or used bord games I well one stop shop place is Boord geeks.
Link is blow. not only can you look at information on the item there but by reqistering there for free you can link to your ebay page. Thats how I sell so many bord games here on eay. like 20 to 50 a day.

Not on this account, you don't 😞
Maybe it's a good thing for you to be copy/pasting.

reqistering
And the grammar ...
@jessie1285 Board policy says that you may not advertise any other website ... just a heads up.

That is correct. One of the primary purposes of Marketplace is to allow Amazon to discover items that will sell through 3P sellers showing them the way. Before Amazon got into selling games, the only sellers in that market were 3P sellers, so of course they were the ones who created the listing descriptions. And most of them were not, shall we say, professional grade.
There are also Marketplace sellers who sell their own private label goods. Therefore, they have to create the listing.
