Converting video to mp4 or mov. from phone or desktop.

I went to bing.com and looked up.   I found a convert area to do video which I would have to do to a file.   This is on desktop.  Anyone else has a way they have been doing.  I contacted Apple and they don't have anything software related.   I said  ok then.   Why is it that ebay,  the app is cool and yes you have to do certain things with the titles and stuff and everyone has a different way.

I just wish someone in ebay who had a developer ,  would read this and any issues and understand since we're all in technology land the newest phones regardless of whom everyone has and see that some resellers like my self and others want to take advantage of the videos to post.  

I have no problem under 1 minute.   It creates leverage.   Anyone elses opinions on this.

Am I right,  that ebay is what is ebay.   Anyones sales going up.  Just observing.

Not sure exactly what your issue is here but there are websites that can convert video files into different formats.  They are often free although size and number of files may be limited.  And for what it is worth, a desktop offers far more options for listing than does a phone and this becomes more useful as your listings increase.  Maybe get an actual digital camera as your photos often show a shadow of your hand and phone and have irregular  background shading and could be improved by using a camera.  You don't need a state of the art camera and you can find a used small Lumix fairly inexpensively on Ebay.  Then use an image editor like Gimp to clean up and edit the images.   All best done on a desktop.

Not doing digital camera.   I have iphone 14 pro.     not doing gimp either.  I am more tech savvy.

I was on the phone with ebay for about 45 minutes.   The person had to transfer me to another rep.   this woman I talked to,  we were on the same page.   Any video converter ultimate,  another reseller I know told me about that one.  He called me back the other day to tell me to go to mp4 on a menu after downloading on it and it works.   Then I had to find the file and found it.  I mentioned to ebay woman on the phone that the programmer/developer should do that and test it and then get other sellers on board with it.

We shouldn't have to go to websites.   The way I see it is this.  you list your item up,  description,  quantity,  shipping, etc.    why should sellers have to do all the work?  I can understand detail and stuff.
