Confused on combined shipping... Can I still do it?

I have a buyer who paid for one item and I already printed and paid for the shipping label for that one item. However, they are wondering if I am able to combine shipping as they are interested in another item or two. Is it possible still to be able to combine shipping if they are to buy more or did I mess it up when I printed the label? I am shipping in a small USPS flat rate box.

Note: I printed the label before they let me know they might be interested in something else.

Yes. You would void the first label you print out. After the buyer buys the other items, just create a postage thru one of the items but use the weight/size/package of all items combined (the small flat rate box you mentioned). Then use the tracking number for that shipment and copy/paste it in the “add tracking” button for the other sold items that don’t already have that tracking linked (including the item linked to the voided tracking).

Also to help yourself, make sure you send that package out by the time the handling time on your first item expires.

It's a Flat Rate box, so it doesn't matter how much it weighs, just that the two items will fit safely in the same box. If so, then just mark the second item as shipped, and paste in the tracking number from the label that you generated for the first item.

As things stand there is a good chance I would not even reply.

I would send them in september because as far as I remember. When
I buy from Amazon (where shipping is guaranteed) they send their packages separately.

Oh I assumed the OP didn’t intend on using the Flat Rate Box on the first item (so the postage he made wasn’t for that box).

But yea, if the first postage label created was for the Flat Rate box, just copy and paste the tracking into the 2nd and any latter item going into that box. Once done, they will automatically change themselves to “shipped” status.
