Confused About Account Verification

Dear eBay community members, 

I need your help. 

Few days ago I received a email informing that my account is restricted for ID verification. But they have not included a link or email to upload them. please someone can tell me how to and where to upload my documents? and also I need to know should I upload both side of Driving License? and also I have a pdf of my Bank Statement. can I upload that directly as a soft copy? or should I take a hard copy of it and take a photo or scanned document to upload? what do I do?

  Try going to the link on your page where it reads "Account"  See account settings & personal info etc.  Hopefully that's where you can update your info eBay requested.

They might ask for invoices for the items you're selling to prove you own them.

Since you're dropshipping from other retail sites, that might be a little hard.

Hi @onlinezupermart sorry for your troubles. In what way is your account restricted? Your items are still up for sale.

Can you access the Help & Contact link that appears on all eBay pages? That is eBay Support and they may be able to direct you. Have you checked your personal email for additional eBay Messages?

Where did your first message announcing the restriction get delivered? Your eBay Messages or email or text, etc? Are you certain it is a genuine communication from eBay?

Yeah, why do they suddenly ask for verification of an account that has just been humming along with no problems, and all of a sudden it needs verification?!  I initially reported it to ebay as spoof, that’s how odd it was to me.  I’m afraid to do anything….
