Condition and Seller Notes - Duplicated Formatting Problem

This happens during bulk editing of "Condition". Most-likely, the behavior is identical for single listing edit as well but I have not tested it yet.

The text cannot be formatted properly, whether created on the spot, or pre-formated and pasted. The automated concatenation of sentences runs them into each other with no space after period. Also, paragraph indentation is not possible.

The problem is duplicated because, using the same entry, the program creates "Seller Notes" which are placed farther down, under "Item Specifics".

Duplicating information is not only redundant and annoying for the reader but also a fail-safe no-no in programming because of the errors it can multiply. That aside, the lack of formatting capability is really what needs immediate attention.

Cheers!

Condition and Seller Notes - Duplicated Formatting Problem

Item condition field has never accepted paragraphs or line breaks. This is not a tech error; it's by design. The field is intended to be a brief description to call out the item's condition and any flaws.

It does accept spaces. You can verify that on your own listing as you see spaces between each word in your item condition. https://www.ebay.com/itm/286813984416

The system removes non-permitted line breaks. Use spaces instead of line breaks and your sentences will not run together.

The info entered in the item condition field on that listing has nothing to do with the item's condition; you're not using the field per its intended use.

You have don't have any product description, just a super long terms of service, some of which is unenforceable and goes against eBay policy. I assume you know that already, but if you want help in that area just ask.
