Concerned i got scammed

For various reaons I'm concerned that I got scammed on a recent item I sold.  I shipped out a drone to the buyer in a foreign country and they asked to have it delivered via USPS international priority parcels.  When i went to ship this item, they told me that there's no tracking offered for the item I shipped.  Paypal shows that it has the funds "on hold".  Even though I don't have tracking for the package, i was able to enter my shipment receipt information and ebay can see that the item has shipped.  I was under the impression that the funds would be released to me by adding the shipping information, is that correct ?  Also, is there any way that the seller can revoke the payments that are "on hold" in paypal?

No thats not correct, the item must show as delivered,not shipped. without tracking, the buyer can claim he never received the item, and file an item not received complaint and be refunded.

This is for the $600 drone? And you shipped it internationally without tracking? bad move on your part, prepare to get an item not received case filed against you.why would you let the buyer decide how to ship it? You didnt protect yourself at all...sorry.

NEVER ship without tracking. it's your proof that is has been delivered. without it , they can scam you saying they never received it.
I hope you can get this fixed, but it will be hard. Tracking number is what PayPal accepts as proof that you shipped, don't know if your USPS receipt will be enough.

Never ship to a country that does not offer door to door tracking.

And always stay in command of the listing.  Buyers are looking out for their own best interest not yours.

What country did you ship to? International Priority mail does come with tracking.....are you sure you were given correct information? The PO employees tend to give bad information, believe it or not.

Do you mean that you entered the tracking number off the receipt and you can see the USPS tracking information?  If so, that will help as long as the destination country is on the list of countries that participate. 

What was the destination country?
