My computer crashed this morning. Happy new year. He he. Can anyone tell me how to lift my own photos off of my own auctions. Is this possible? gees I hate to have to retake them all.... Need them for plans to move on.... . But now I'm thinking i may have to retake them all. Anyway, the cute thing is... This was the only time, I was up on my photo taking. I had them all done... So I just went on ebay and bought the same exact computer.. so I can use the same photo software and get up and running as soon as possible. He he he. Murphy's law. Now dont tease me because i bought the same type of computer. Does anyone know Or have the time to help? thanks in advance?

Go into the auction and click on the main photo. That should bring up the gallery that gives you the largest possible rendering of each photo, one at a time. Now right-click on the large photo, and select the "Save Image As..." option. That will allow you to download the image to your computer. Give it a suitable filename so you can find it again later, and go on to the next one.

Why do you need the pictures on your computer?

Spot on AC - that's what I do if I decide to put together lots of items if they are selling as a single item. I take one new pic of the lot and then go into the listings and save as for the other pics.
Best to you grasshopper - what a hassle!! Good luck!

This won't help you now, but in the future you can save your Ebay pics to Google Photos or Microsoft One Drive. You can have them automatically back up every time you upload them to your computer. It works in the background, set it and forget it. I can access my Ebay pictures for the last few years from any computer, any browser, anywhere.

SHOOT! LOL. I dont think it did work. It did on the first Pic, not the second one tho. I'll keep at it. At this point with all the internet problems on all these sites. I may as well work myself to death for no money. What the heck? can it get any worse? it cant, they are all tanking in front of my nose. (smile)

I need them back if I can, any easy way, because I will have to re take every darn item over. And do them up in photo shop. To get them back in my files on this computer.... (which is my computer numeber two)which is a ton of work. Altho I guess at the rate things sell on here anymore. I do suppose I have all the time in the world. What i will do next time is load files in two computers.

Computer crash?
Does that mean they were on your computer's hard drive, and you had a hard drive failure?
Or that your Windows is corrupted and it won't boot up?
There can be ways around both....

If your photos are on the cpmputer, depending on what the "crash" was, a geek may be able to rescue your picture files.

I dont know Lynn. I have windows 7, internet explorer 11 and foxfire as a back up. And it just wont reboot. Thats ok. I just went and got another laptop from a guy on ebay that I have good luck with. I know I should Upgrade, but right now, I dont have the time and patience for it all. I need to get back the photos, and then maybe in a few months, get something more with it. But I've been all around, and these sites are becoming nothing but a pain in the Butt. For example.. the snobby craft site, not even paying it's sellers. It's not looking good on the internet sites. I would like to get my photos back, without all the extra work. But I suppose, if I have to do it, I Iwill. I survived 20 years and everyone else is gone. so I will plug along. LOL
