Need them for plans to move on.... . But now I'm thinking i may have to retake them all. Anyway, the cute thing is... This was the only time, I was up on my photo taking. I had them all done... So I just went on ebay and bought the same exact computer.. so I can use the same photo software and get up and running as soon as possible. He he he. Murphy's law. Now dont tease me because i bought the same type of computer. Does anyone know Or have the time to help? thanks in advance?

it's sounds like you might have a few corrupt system files. as already mentioned you can do a system restore.
or since the drive still sounds like it runs.
You could also take out the hard drive(if it's a laptop it's usually labeled on the buttom and you only need to remove a few screws) and put it in an enclosure then attach that to your other laptop via usb.
here's an example of the enclosure.

Yes, as the poster above asked, 'did you rename the files?'
When you click on one and 'Save As', you save with the name and put a _1 - underscore and number, or whatever, after it. They have to have unique names or they will just copy over the first one. Each one saved HAS TO HAVE a UNIQUE name.
Try it again.

Sorry, but I can't help you with the computer crash. But I can give some advice on making the next crash (it will happen, eventually) as painless as possible. Assuming you are using some version of Windows, go and buy these items:
1 TB Hard Drive
SATA hard drive USB external Box
a copy of Norton Ghost 15
Put the HD in the box and get it connected to your computer. Install Norton Ghost and learn how to use it to make weekly base and daily incremental backups. After Ghost is correctly set up, the backups go automatically. When you do have a crash, you will have a full image backup to restore your computer that is at most one day old and will likely (depending on HD size) get you back up and running in a few hours.. This works for Windows right up through Windoze 10. I have been doing this for years both at home and work and it never fails. Good luck.

"I dont know Lynn. I have windows 7, internet explorer 11 and foxfire as a back up. And it just wont reboot. Thats ok. "

That means it sounds like your hard drive is fine.
And all files and pictures on it.
You can create an Operating System called Linux (I use Ubuntu)
and put it on a USB stick...
and Linux on your USB stick Will boot up your computer, as if it's now a Linux system (and it won't change anything. It won't harm your current Windows on it)
You can then still find and copy, all your files you need to pull off of it.

If you're running Windows, do you have the snipping tool (scissors over a white circle) on your homescreen on the taskbar at the bottom of the page? If you do, go into your auctions, enlarge each photo, start on one corner of the image and drag your cursor to highlight the whole image. When you're done click "file" and "save as" and give the photo a name.

It did work! It took about an hour and a half, to go thru all the photos, but that wasnt bad. That saved me SO much work. Retaking all those pics, then fixing them up in the software. I'm glad I asked here. Everyone came to the rescue. THANKS! next time, i'll put at least the file into two computers.

I'm glad you were able to download your photos from eBay. I hope you were able to save your master image and not just a smaller size.
Next time that happens to someone, there may be a quicker way to make the process more automatic.
For just a SINGLE listing, this tool will fetch all photos for that listing and give the option to download a zip file, where each photo will be given a new name; or you can just drag the photos to your desktop and rename as you go. There are options on the tool to display the largest (1600) size eBay has stored as a master. The zip option will automatically save eBay's master version of the photos.

For a BATCH of listings, this BulkPhotoScanner will locate all photos in your public listings (no adult listings) so that you don't need to go into each listing. It will also find the master images that eBay has on file.
http://www.isdntek.com/ebaytools/BulkPhotoScanner.htm
There are two ways to bulk scan. The "AutoScan" button will fetch and display each master photo for each listing so that you can copy or drag it to your desktop. But of course, every photo will have the same name, usually "s-l1600.jpg". If you don't have many photos and don't mind renaming each time, this is the simplest to understand.
The alternate method is to zip the images. Start with the "FastScan" instead of "AutoScan" because it will run faster. With either scan, when the scan has finished, go to the report at the bottom and select "Zip All" and "Build Report". A button will appear to "Send to Zip Tool", which is a second tool where you can zip up all of your photos without having to rename each one. Each will carry the item number as a name, along with a numerical suffix.
