Combine shipping?

eBayer buyer for years. I recently started selling and a buyer purchased two separate items. The buyer asked if I could combine shipping price and I agreed. The items are marked as sold. How do I combine shipping?

If they've already purchased them, to give a combined shipping discount you'll have to refund the shipping overage.

Personally, I no long give refunds for combined shipping after payment.

If they want combined shipping (discounted) they need to ask before they pay and cost me fees.

Log in to paypal.

It should show 2 separate payments from this buyer.

Go to the 2nd payment. Click on "refund". Fill in the amount you wish to refund.  Make sure you do this otherwise you will issue a full refund. Under the comments section you can put "combined shipping refund". Then enter.

As far as "HOW do I combine shipping" goes, you pack them in the same box then do one label, then add that tracking to the other item.

I thought this was not possible. I tried combining two orders into one once. After entering the single tracking number into the first order, I got an error "this tracking number is already associated with another order" when I tried entering it into the second.

I ended up not being able to enter a tracking number at all for that order, and this resulted in my one and only "late shipment" and "tracking not uploaded" mark.

I think when you go to print labels you check both boxes next to the item then hit print label and you are given a choice of printing one label in order to combine the item.  The tracking number would automatically be filled in on both items that way.

I've also been successful in putting the tracking # in on paypal and then it appears on the item in ebay.

The only time I've had that happen was when I hadn't noticed the same buyer was using 2 separate guest accounts.
