After over 15 years of selling on eBay, it's time to close my store. I'm a small time seller, paying a monthly fee plus added fees when something is sold. The straw that broke the camel's back is filing a tax return. This has become an expensive hobby! I know there's a place, possibly in Seller Hub that is marked close store or something similar but I'm having trouble finding it. I really need this information & your help. Thank you!

@lindac871, had you registered to collect sales tax in your state? Maybe so that you could buy items for your business and not have to pay sales tax when you bought them?
You're talking about your state saying that you need to file a sales tax return/form, right?

So, shredding all of my paperwork Enron style will not stop an audit?
It didn't work for Arthur Anderson and they had some good lawyers.

I've been on ebay around a year. I came on strong with the opening of two accounts with two different stores. I'm not alone these fees are adding up. It's really becoming a really expensive hobby. I'll keep one store or am I better off without the store?

You don't have actual eBay stores, just selling accounts (?). Because you don't have fee-based stores (pay a monthly subscription fee, unless your other account is one can't see it) does not cost anything to keep them both.

You are definitely better off without the Store. The ID that you posted with has just 14 listings and 37 Sold items, plus a feedback score so low that it will cause potential buyers to avoid you. Drop your Store subscription; without it you get 250 free insertions per month.

A click on the poster's feedback number shows that they do indeed have a Store subscription.
