I apologize if this has been brought up, I just noticed it. When I search for an item, and then click on any random listing of said item, the links under the seller id that consist of "Save this seller/contact seller/see other items/visit store" why is it that "see other items" now only goes to the specific item you originally searched for? It used to include all of the seller's OTHER items, (keyword here is OTHER), yet now it just appears each seller is only selling the one item you are searching for and nothing else. I realize "visit store" includes all of the seller's items available, but "see other items" did not limit visibility of the seller's actual other items before, so why the change? What is the point of that?
Search anything, "green kite", "great bucket", "how to not fail business idea"..anything. Click on a listing, select "see other items" and only the item you searched for is linked. This is perhaps the single biggest sales killer I've ever seen implemented here.
This used to bring you to all of the seller's other items, now it's just a misleading, completely wasted opportunity to have a buyer purchase multiple items from the same seller. I realize "visit store" still shows the seller's other items, my point is, this is a huge change and either the phrasing needs to be less misleading or the old link to a seller's actual "other" items should return. I don't see any positive in this whatsoever for ebay to enact such a foolish, totally unneeded change for that link. This hurts sales for everyone, including ebay.

Ha! Yeah--that's another great eBay enhancement for you! I actually hadn't noticed it yet, but I do use that feature quite often.
You can still get there by clicking on the seller's username, which pulls up a profile page for them. There's a link to "Items for sale" on that page that actually does work. Isn't that grand?

This is an ongoing issue that for whatever reason is not being fixed. Ebay is aware of it and it has been posted on the tech board. To try and combat the issue, I have put a link to my other items in each of my listings. It has to be a target link within ebay or I don`t think they will allow it.

Not sure if I am following, but if you click on the seller's feedback number, it brings you to another page where the second link - view items for sale - brings up all the seller's other listings.

I clicked on your first listing - 2009 Johnny Lightning and then clicked the see other items and it brings me back to your active listing pages that shows 6646 items for sale?
Seems like it is working as intended, at least for your account?
Can you give us a sellers item number that you are expriencing this?

I just checked this morning and all links are working fine. An intermittent problem or fixed permanetly? Who knows?

I'm specifically referencing the "see other items" link that appears after you search all of ebay for any item, and then click on an item. Potential buyers arrive to a seller's other items in several ways, it's just that this one specific link is no longer taking them straight to a seller's other items, which can leave the impression that sellers have no other items. Seller feedback links and "visit store" do still function normally, but many people are not going to instantly realize that this specific link has changed and move on thinking that seller has no other items.

Thank you!
I hope it is a tech issue, in that case, I probably should have posted in tech. I just assumed this was a planned change.
I just checked again, searching random items. It's not just one or two items for me, the last few days it's been the majority. It took me 3 days to realize what was happening.
If I give you item numbers, I don't think it will work, because you won't have a keyword that you searched for. I searched "Mattingly" and clicked on a random listing. Then another, and another. Each time "see other items" only results in whatever "Mattingly" items the seller has. I then randomly searched "star wars socks", clicked on a couple of random listings, and got the same result.
It makes sense to me now that this would be a tech issue, so maybe it's not impacting everyone.
Thank you all so much for replying. I used to cross-merchandise in retail, so this specific change horrified me haha.

I've experienced this frequently too.
"When I search for an item, and then click on any random listing of said item, the links under the seller id that consist of "Save this seller/contact seller/see other items/visit store" why is it that "see other items" now only goes to the specific item you originally searched for?"
So, at that point, I Again click See Other Items .. and then.. I see everything they have for sale.
fwiw,
Lynn

I could be wrong but I think the link works if you actually pay for a store and the link was changed to not show you other items if you have A FREE 50 allotment of listings and do not pay for a store. Can anyone second that?

I actually think this "enhancement" is working as intended. If I am searching for "Franklin Library" in the main search box, then browse through listings and click on one that I find interesting. I am looking at an item from a book seller that may have other similar items. I click on see other items and it only shows me other listings from that seller that qualify under the search of "Franklin Library". Sometimes a seller only has the 1 listing, sometimes they have hundreds other listings that qualify under that search. If you want to see all other items by that seller, not just that specific search, you can just delete the search terms and hit enter again and it will bring up all of their listings. This has been "working" like this for me for probably a month. It was pretty irritating at first, and I still don't like it, but I guess it makes some kind of sense.

You do not give people enough credit.
Yes there was a problem the other way. But I think most can figure out another way to get there.
With so many glitches and changes on ebay buyers have learned to be resourceful.

There is some change happening in this area, but I think it has to do with viewing from mobile or desktop? Also store sellers and non store sellers like you mentioned. Clicking the sellers store button is basically the same thing.
There will always be change in appearance because of users habits and trying to make sure the best features are easily accessed by users.
