Has anyone seen this new layout for listings? I have a button on my last listing called 'click button to view entire description'.

There is a completely blank screen unless one clicks that button. There is NO description of the item for sale until you click this button and then the description opens in a separate window.

What is this all about - an I in a test group?

What ebay says and what it actually does are unfortunately mutually exclusive...

So don't bet the farm on any of their promises.

lol, after selling for almost 20 years on Ebay I'm unfortunately all to aware of that fact...there might have been a hint of sacrasm with that my question for Jeff...I know I'm probably screwed, as usual...

yup, sales would be nice...I used to make a nice chunk of change for myself AND Ebay, but over the last 1-3 years (especially the last year) it has taken a drastically dismal turn...

When we check on each other's listings, for all ebay knows we ARE potential buyers.

ebay finally admitted to NOT showing all sellers' listings, at their own discretion (they show buyers only what they want them to see).

And we aren't big-box or Chinese sellers...

that's kinda what I think, and apprantely it can be so sporadic with their "testing" it could change from minute to minute though...for what it's worth ymeagainlord, I can see your descriptions right now too 😉

The new "improved" ebay has a history of not informing its customers (sellers) of changes in policy, beta tests, et al, that are implemented behind our backs and are apt to have a detrimental effect on our businesses.

Sure miss the real ebay, a fair, fun and friendly marketplace--prior to 2008.

I just looked at your listings and there was no need to click on anything to see your descriptions. I just listed an item seconds ago and my description is there as well.

I got this on the third item I tried. The first changed from with to without the 'click' while loading and the second I never saw the 'click'. However, this one, well, here's the screen shot. It is the 'NOT ALL THOSE WHO WANDER ARE LOST NECKLACE'.

Not saying 'NO' doesn't mean 'YES'.
