Claiming payments.

I’m very disappointed with EBay! I have sold several items only to receive no payment for them. I was told by on buyer that I would have to claim the payment in EBay in order for the payment to be released. How and where can I do this? I thought the payment goes directly to PayPal and into my bank account. There are a couple of payments which have been refunded to the buyers because I didn’t claim the payment. This is not fair or right. If EBay and PayPal are going to conduct their business then they have lost a member.

Doesn't sound like an Ebay problem.

Sounds like you put the wrong Pay Pal email in your listings.

Check your listings.

Have a great day.

Your email address needs to match.  Not  paypal or ebays or buyers fault.  It is your fault and you need to fix it if you want to get your money.

That means the issue is on your end and you need to claim the payment.

When you list an item, on the listing form there is a box were your PayPal e-Mail
address goes. That e-Mail address has to match the PayPal e-Mail address you
have in your PayPal account. Apparently yours doesn't match so PayPal has the

money but PayPal wasen't supplied with the correct e-Mail address to send it to

your Account.

You can't change the e-Mail on the listing form because that's locked in when the
sale was made but you need to look and see what it is.

Do a sell similar from the sale (but don't list it). Look around the form for the e-Mail

address. As long as there in not a typo and it is one of your e-Mail addresses that

you can use it's an easy fix buy adding that address to your PayPay account and that

will claim the payment.

If it's a typo or an e-Mail you can't use you will need to contact PayPay to help you

claim the payment.
