China

Does anyone ever get frustrated  that China takes up 10 pages  with one item?  It is  like that with everything they sell.  I checked to see where mine was  just a top. I was on page 14.  Does this bother anyone else?

Re: China

I hate drop shippers in general.

Some of the bigger ones in the fine jewelry categories just copy the diamond data bases and have literally hundreds of thousands of listings.  And these are US sellers.

Re: China

Of course it does.   Sellers that have numerous sales are given top placement in search even if the transaction gets a NEG from the buyer.   So long as you keep those numbers up, you are good to go on ebay.   Rumor has it that the China seller does indeed now needs to fork over the money for a return when they send you the proverbial MARBLE instead of the Ipad you bought....at least in "practice"...LOL...ebay has been refunding buyers as a  courtesy, and I think they are tired of it. ...Just my humble opinion....

You get a full refund from the seller, and they get no "case strike" because they paid off the buyer.....

Re: China

Yes I do get annoyed. Also, since it is not illegal to sell counterfeits in China, they are allowed to sell counterfeit items. The site is filled with fake NIKE and adidas shoes and it's allowed! But ONLY if you're a China seller. This hurts shoe resellers because they can get some fake Nike for $20 free shipping.

I would respectfully suggest tjat you failed to see Mr. Wenigs internet post regarding China sellers.   He (ebay) has been sending the info regarding  POPULAR  items on ebau and was tru;y amazed as tp how quickly the China sellers got the items on the ebay platform.

I you are a seller of the "REAL THING" you might as well hang it up......Real things appear on page 27 or some such .........

Because ebay's artificial intelligence never started with human intelligence.

Re: China

Hopefully buyers who might be interested in your offerings here check the U.S. Only option for searching, which can cut out a little bit of the clutter.

The truth is, if you are selling merchandise which is in competition with stuff being sold from China as well, you're likely to get buried.  China produces a flood of merchandise, so theirs can drown out yours.

I don't run into seeing this as much because I don't usually shop here for stuff that has any competition from China at all, but occasionally I find my search inundated with their offerings.

Re: China

I will not buy from China. I ordered some bike shorts on Amazon and the seller was high on shipping. I was like ok but I want the shorts. Unbeknownst to me the seller is in Singapore. Had I known I would have never bought from them. It's now been a month and I still don't have the shorts but what burns me even more is the amount they charged me for shipping. You want to charge shipping for that much fine but at least get the product to the buyer sooner rather then later.
