They just charged my CC and I checked my account & everything was correct
Have you figured out from checking your invoice if they charged you the incorrect amount for the 1 month store fee ?
I am curious about the charge

That sounds like a pro-rated amount (partial first month, full second month)
Also ... you are in Canada. Are you listing on .ca or .com?
Either way, you pay GST on your eBay invoice
https://www.ebay.ca/pages/help/account/tax-ov.html
If you reside or have your primary place of business in Canada, Canadian Goods and Services Tax (GST) is payable on your eBay fees regardless of the eBay website you use for listing or selling your items. Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) or Quebec Sales Tax (QST) may also apply, depending on the province where you are located. eBay will include GST/HST/QST in your eBay seller fees and provide an invoice showing the amount of tax paid
The sellers over on the Canadian boards might be able to explain it better.

Are you on a monthly renewal plan or yearly renewal?
Was that $43 Canadian or $US?
IF you were billed in Canadian dollars, and you are on a monthly renewal plan, I am going to guess that you opened a store on .com instead of on .ca. The prices are similar but the currencies are different so you end up paying a lot more if you open a store on the US site.
$27.95 x $1.34 (approx. exchange) = $37.45 x 13% hst = $4.87
Total - $42.32 I'm not sure what the exchange rate was at the time so that could be why I'm off.
If you did open the store on .com, it would be in your interest to phone cs and see if they will cancel it so that you can open one on .ca. It's less expensive but you can still list on both sites. Or, post on the .ca boards and we will page the ebay rep there to ask him how you should handle it.

Yes I signed up to a monthly US store part way through October which they charged me over $20. I had my currency in Canadian not US which was were it should have been. So the exchange rate hit was bad. Didn't think it through. It's now changed to the US currency. They can take it out of there. BUT I did have both US and Canadian money in Pay Pal. I know eBay can't read my mind but I would have thought they would have taken the US funds out to pay for a US bill. That would have been good for me.
Thanks for your reply. Jeff

I purchased a US monthly store with Canadian currency. It's now in US currency. Thanks for you interest. Jeff

Yes I have returned to eBay after a little rest from it. Things are different. PayPal is the same. I should have thought it through more. Getting a US store and using Canadian currency is a little costly. Thanks for your reply. Jeff

Yes you have it right. A Canadian who has just set up a monthly US subscription and paying with Canadian currency. Not a good combination. It took a while on the phone but eBay reduced it to the US currency rate. I had both currencies (money) in PayPal. Thanks for your reply. Jeff

Jeff your "subscription" to ebay is clearly off at $43. Its such an odd amount it sounds more like you signed up for 3 months or something. A "prescription" though at $43 is a heck of a deal now a days. Everytime I go to the pharmacy it costs a lot more haha. Goodluck figuring out what it is. At least if its on ebays end they can fix it as oppose to a buyer scamming ya.
It could be the OP needs a prescription after buying his subscription!

Did they adjust it for one month or for all future billing, too? Don't want you to have to deal with this again in four weeks.
