Never received one - 18 years
As you are not a seller you won't need to worry about CB's

Chargebacks are done through the buyer's card provider and not through eBay.
So there's probably no limit to how many chargebacks you would be forced to accept.
However the seller usually loses the item and the money in a chargeback.
It would be nice if eBay would kick off buyers that file a chargeback instead of an eBay case. They should have to go though eBay first so the seller at least has a chance to get the item back.

I've been selling on ebay for 22+ years.
I've never had a chargeback.
I hope I didn't just jinx myself. 😉

All sellers are going to have a different answer for this question. Sellers are so diverse in what they sell.
Why do you feel the need for the answer? What will it help you determine?

I got a charge back back in April. At the end, ebay decided in my favor.

Do you mean actual chargebacks or returns? I've had returns and refunds, but not chargebacks. Your use of the term might mean something different in Israel.

About 4-6 per month.....all covered by ebay buyer protection

You are asking the wrong group of people. No seller on eBay or any other ecommerce site ever "receives" a chargeback. While they may have to deal with them eBay is the merchant of record to the CC company and the one that actually receives the chargeback.
Prior to MP, when PayPal was the financial processor, they probably handled millions of these behind the scenes without the seller ever actually knowing or being involved in the dispute process. When eBay setup MP and Adyen became the financial processor that functional process became severely damaged. If you could get eBay to release that number and the amount of money sellers have been defrauded out of it would probably scare the excrement out of a lot of sellers.
CC Companies like Visa and Master Card continually monitor merchant chargebacks and if those numbers become excessive have added the merchant to a black list which means the merchant is no longer allowed to use or accept Visa or Master Card as one of their customer (buyer) payment methods. Imagine the impact this would have on eBay if customers were no longer allowed to pay with Visa or MC.

Yep, that’s the problem with all chargebacks, people should first contact the merchant but sometime they do not. Sometimes the merchant is not being fair so they have that opportunity to correct the problem.

Very few, because we treat the customers well and accept returns for whatever reason and give them free shipping back. Our listings have extremely clear pictures and good descriptions. You should work to prevent chargebacks in the first place by being very transparent in your listings and give good customer service when there is a problem.

I could not agree more and your logic is sound and applies when the buyers happen to be honest. It's the scammers that use the chargebacks to obtain free merchandise and commit fraud that are the problem area. Some estimates are by 2023 it will be a $117 billion dollar a year worldwide problem.
